Abstract

Jihadi camps are among the most significant manifestations of the Islamic Revolution's culture in serving the deprived and the underprivileged. This revolutionary phenomenon, if separated from the perspective of the Supreme Leader, can lead to transformation and even deviation, losing its distinguishing features from charitable movements in capitalist society. Therefore, it is necessary to revisit and examine the overall framework of these camps in the thoughts of the Supreme Leader so that the organizers of these camps can evaluate themselves against that overarching framework. Thus, to answer the question, "What is the overall framework of Jihadi camps in the thoughts of the Supreme Leader?" a library and documentary study method was employed, gathering data from his speeches on the subject. The data were collected from the "Khamenei.ir" database over the period from 1988 to 2024, resulting in a total of 134 points being noted. These notes were analyzed using thematic analysis, ultimately identifying four main themes: "Roots and Foundations," "Musts," "Must Nots," and "Effects and Blessings" of Jihadi camps.
