The aim of the current research was to identify the main components and sub-components of the performance management model of faculty members of Imam Hossein University (AS). The research was developmental in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of method. The research community was formed by faculty members in the field of educational management, higher education management and human resources. The research sample was 12 people from the mentioned community who were selected purposefully. The method of collecting library information and the method of data collection was structured interview. In this way, in order to identify the main components and sub-components of the model, theoretical foundations, research background and scientific documents and documents related to the field of human resources performance management of the university were examined and analyzed in the library method and document study. A structured interview tool was used to collect data. This tool was validated by 6 experts. to analyze structured interview data and complete the initial model extracted from literature and background; Binomial test was used. Based on the research findings; The seven main components of the initial model (identification and association, recruitment, employment and maintenance, performance evaluation, promotion and promotion, development of competencies and growth, termination of service) were confirmed at a significance level of 0.05. Also, 29 sub-components of the initial model were confirmed at a significance level of 0.05.
