Abstract

The great social, cultural, and religious transformation that the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) accomplished in the Age of Ignorance is considered one of the most prominent models of educational reform and guidance in the history of humanity. This article aims to examine the educational and guidance strategies and approaches of the Prophet (PBUH) in the process of transitioning the pre-Islamic Ignorance society to a religious, moral, and justice-oriented civilization. Ignorance society, with its characteristics such as polytheism, violence, tribal discrimination, and structural ignorance, was a complex and resistant environment to change. By utilizing methods such as gradual invitation, the use of wisdom and good preaching, character modeling, and an emphasis on monotheism and moral values, the Prophet was able to transform the intellectual, cultural, and social structure of society. In this article, with an analytical-descriptive approach and relying on Quranic and narrational sources, various dimensions of these strategies are analyzed and their role in the formation of the Islamic nation is examined. The results of this research show that the Prophet's educational and guidance methods were not only fruitful in their specific historical period, but also have the potential to serve as a model for contemporary educational systems.
