The ability to imagine mental events and possible future events and predict situations and needs, which is known as future thinking, plays a vital role for complex cognitive activities such as; It has planning, regulation of emotions, self-control and moral judgment. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of determining the relationship between Future thinking skills and moral judgment and self-control in children. In this descriptive study, the statistical population was Children in the first year of elementary schools in the 4th education district of Isfahan in 1400-1401, 230 of whom were selected by random cluster sampling and were asked questionnaires of prospective thinking, perceived self-control, and moral judgment questionnaires. They answered Data were analyzed using Pearson's correlation coefficient, multiple linear regression and independent t-test. The obtained results showed that the component of moral judgment as well as self-control with the future thinking questionnaire was at a significance level of P ˂. /01 respectively with a correlation coefficient of 55/. and 63/. It has a significant and positive relationship. Also, the regression results showed that moral judgment predicts 17% and self-control 21% of future thinking changes. Also, the t-test indicates a significant difference in the self-control component in both boys and girls.
