This study was carried out with the purpose of "explaining the philosophical foundations of critical education in the Holy Quran in order to provide a theoretical framework and infer its implications in educational principles and methods." And it has been done using the method of conceptual and inferential analysis.The research community of the Holy Quran, Tafsir al-Mizan, first and second hand written documents and sources related to the subject.The findings of the research are as follows; 29 ontological bases, 28 anthropological bases, 8 epistemological bases and 49 value-based bases of explanation and theoretical framework including dimensions and components were formulated.The implications of critical education for educational principles including; Tawheed, unity, justice, realism, freedom, etc. also for educational methods including; Debate, conversation, debate, rational argument, protest, etc. were deduced. In the humanizing school of the Holy Quran and its noble teachings, critical theory; It is an all-encompassing struggle for the liberation and freedom of the human kind from the constraints of internal and external tyranny, cultivating the spirit of anti-tyranny, seeking justice, demanding rights, and duty-oriented. The goal of critical education in the Holy Qur'an is to educate informed, insightful, wise, critical, creative and self-directed people who, while being aware of their individual and collective rights and responsibilities, in complete freedom and through a continuous and comprehensive effort, evaluate, criticize and correct obstacles. Realization of their physical and spiritual perfection, they will also strive to form a monotheistic society, achieve eternal life, worldly and hereafter happiness.
